Village activities and events in Bucknell
Bucknell village hall is used for a range of activities through the year, from a weekly drop-in for tea and a chat to monthly bingo, film nights and Women's Institute meetings. Most are run by people who live in or near the village, and newcomers are welcome.
This page lists what we know is running and who to ask about each one. If you organise something in Bucknell that is not shown here, please send us the details so we can add it.

One-off and seasonal events
Alongside the regular groups, the village holds one-off and seasonal events during the year. We do not have confirmed dates to publish at the moment.
When dates are confirmed they will be shown here with the event name, date, times and where it is being held. Once an event has taken place it moves to an archive, so what you see at the top of the page is always what is still to come.
Film Night does not run in July and August, so allow for that when you are planning your diary.
Add your event to the village calendar
If you run a club, class or one-off event in Bucknell, we are happy to list it. Email the parish clerk at bucknell.clerk@gmail.com with:
- the title of the event or group
- the date, or the pattern if it repeats (for example, first Friday of the month)
- the start and finish times
- the location
- whether it is a one-off or a recurring activity
- a name, phone number or email address people can use to ask questions
Send the details in good time so they can be checked and added before the event takes place.
