What the parish council does
The parish council is the first level of local government for Bucknell. Councillors meet in public to discuss village matters, comment on planning applications and larger proposals affecting the area, look after village assets such as the playing field and village hall, and decide how the council's money is spent. The clerk runs the day-to-day work of the council and is the person to contact first with any question or concern.
You can find the council's policies and documentation on this site, along with details of your councillors.
